When it comes to assessing a likely rental income we have to take into account the presentation of your property, the current rental market and just as importantly the long term rental market. It is often possible to ask and achieve a high price for a recently renovated property but as the décor gets a few years older it is probable that the rental figure may reduce somewhat. It can often be better to consider a slightly more reasonable rent from the start to try to keep the tenant there longer.
Before we come out to provide a marketing assessment we spend time in the office researching your property, including looking at comparable properties that are currently on the market or that have recently let and we will bring the details of these properties to discuss with you.
